Job Summary

The Software Engineer is responsible for responsible for software development, verification, release management and maintenance for new product introduction as well as product care. Ensure all software activities adhere to our Quality Management System, Cybersecurity process compliance and meet committed timelines.

This position reports to the Director Engineering and is part of the Engineering team located in Bangalore and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

- Be part of recent products development product care projects for Life Sciences by meeting business defined delivery metrics.
- Participate in technical design reviews to ensure specifications, change management and quality requirements delivered in line with definitions.
- Facilitate new projects proposals, sustenance of legacy product lines by working hand in hand with Product Managers/Customer inputs.
- Collaborate with global and local cross functional teams, support team and OEM for product development and support.
- Ensure compliance with QMS, Regulatory, Cybersecurity, CRA and other requirements.
- Continually develop self and the team to meet project deliverables and career aspirations.

Who you are:

- Bachelor s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent.




- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in Software Design, Development, and product care.
- Hands-on experience in developing Desktop applications using C++, Java, VC++ (WinForms, MFC), C# (WPF, .NET) or equivalent.
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) and strong knowledge in OOAD, OOPS, Design patterns, Unit-testing frameworks, and Agile processes
- Familiar with interoperability between managed unmanaged code and inter-process communication and programming for software driven instruments.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

- Candidates with experience in design and development of Life sciences systems and knowledge of the Secure Development Lifecycle will be an added advantage
- Prior experience in full cybersecurity compliance requirements of the Life Sciences industry will be preferred
- Experience with Hardware interface layer and firmware code will be a huge advantage
