Job Description in Brief:-

1. Candidate currently working with a real estate company but with prior experience of high rise residential buildings preferred.
2. Candidate should have experience in structural design of high rise residential buildings.
3. Candidate should have prior experience of inter-disciplinary coordination.
4. Should have hands-on experience in use of structural design software like Etabs, SECURE & Staad.
5. Should have experience in calculation of quantities based on design intent
6. Should be able to provide structural inputs and indices during pre-concept/project feasibility stage based on which internal budget plan would be made.
7. Should have extensive knowledge of latest IS codes used in structural design of buildings.
8. Should be aware of processes involved in high rise committee submissions and approvals.
9. Should have prior experience to coordinate with other design disciplines, costing, contracts teams within the organisation and with respective consultants
10. Should be effectively able to coordinate with site teams
11. Should have prior experience in ensuring timely delivery by consultants based on agreed deliverable schedule.

Role & Responsibilities:

Structural Design and Analysis:

- Coordinate with the Engineer on Records & Peer Reviewers for the design and analysis of structural elements such as beams, columns, slabs, walls, foundations, and retaining structures.
- Review calculations using structural design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, RCDC, Etc)



and manual methods in accordance with applicable codes (e.g., BIS, ACI, AISC, Eurocode, ASCE, BS).
- Support the preparation of detailed structural design reports and design packages through the consultants.

Documentation:

- Maintain a detailed record of deliverables, control measures and design revisions.
- Assist in the development of construction documents, specifications, and bill of quantities (BOQs).
- Prepare technical documentation for submission to clients, authorities, or contractors through the appointed consultants.

Coordination and Communication:

- Collaborate with other disciplines including architecture, MEP, and geotechnical teams to integrate structural systems into overall building designs.
- Attend project coordination meetings and take notes for design and construction updates.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, senior engineers, peer reviewers, and contractors to understand project needs and implement feedback.

Site Support and Inspections:

- Periodic site visits under supervision to observe construction activities, verify compliance with structural drawings, and report on progress.
- Assist in resolving field issues related to structural design and construction.
- Support in conducting structural integrity assessments and retrofitting feasibility studies.

Code Compliance and Quality Control:

- Research and apply national and international building codes and standards.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks of engineering outputs.
