1. Integrate panels, beams, inserts, doors and hardware into a complete box, resolving fit up and interface issues.
2. Feed assembly issues back to the design team and suggest practical design-for assembly changes.
3. Lead the team in drafting assembly SOPs and work instructions, refining them with each prototype iteration.
4. Help define the jigs, fixtures and tooling needed for repeatable builds.
5. Plan and execute box builds against the LVPT schedule and cycle-time targets. Supervise panel cutting, edge closing, frame and beam fit-up, riveting, adhesive bonding and sealing operations.
6. Ensure squareness, dimensional accuracy and flatness of assembled boxes using jigs and fixtures.
7. Oversee door, hinge, lock, gasket and hardware fitment.
8. Coordinate material flow from the panel line, pultrusion line and stores to the assembly bay.
9. Implement work instructions, stage-wise inspection and first-off approval for every build.




10. Verify joint quality, sealing integrity and surface finish before dispatch. Record non-conformances, lead rework and support root-cause analysis with the engineering team.
11. Lead a team of fitters, riveters and helpers; allocate work and maintain shift discipline. Train operators on assembly methods, tool handling and quality standards. Maintain 5S, housekeeping and protected working practices, including PPE and safe handling of adhesives and sealants.
12. Give practical feedback on design for assembly, jigs, fixtures and tooling. Support process documentation, cycle-time studies and line balancing for the proto to-LVPT scale-up.
13. Report daily output, rejections, downtime and material consumption.
