Job Summary

Vanalok is looking for a motivated and technically skilled Civil Engineer to join our project execution and infrastructure development team. The candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, preparing estimates, monitoring and supervising civil construction and infrastructure development works related to ecological restoration, nature parks, eco-tourism projects, landscaping and environmental infrastructure.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed project reports (DPRs), civil estimates, BOQs and cost assessments.

- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, working drawings and construction plans.
- Conduct site inspections, measurements and quantity assessments.
- Supervise civil construction activities and ensure quality workmanship.
- Prepare abstract estimates and detailed estimates using applicable Karnataka PWD Schedule of Rates (SR).
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors and project teams.
- Monitor project progress, material requirements, labour and execution schedules.




- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications and safety standards.
- Assist in tender documentation, technical reports and project documentation.
- Work on nature trails, pathways, retaining walls, fencing, interpretation centres, gazebos, buildings, water structures and landscape infrastructure.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying and cost estimation.
- Familiarity with Karnataka PWD Schedule of Rates (SR) is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of site supervision, construction materials and quality control.
- Valuable communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites whenever required.
