Job Summary

Weavaa Designs is looking for a highly organized, proactive, and result-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our designer boutique, retail showroom, and in-house garment production unit.

The ideal candidate will take complete ownership of daily operations, ensuring smooth coordination between sales, customer service, designers, tailoring, production, quality control, and delivery teams.

We are looking for a strong team leader who can improve operational efficiency, maintain quality standards, ensure timely order delivery, control operational costs, and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities1. Store & Showroom Operations

- Manage daily showroom activities and ensure smooth business operations.
- Supervise sales executives and customer service staff.
- Ensure excellent customer experience and professional service standards.
- Monitor daily sales performance, customer enquiries, and conversions.
- Ensure proper display, merchandising, stock management, and showroom upkeep.
- Handle customer escalations and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure showroom opening, closing, and staff scheduling are properly managed.

2. Production & Tailoring Management

- Oversee daily garment production, including bridal wear, designer wear, and customized orders.
- Plan and allocate work among tailors, cutting masters, designers, and finishing staff.
- Monitor production schedules, workloads, and deadlines.
- Ensure orders are completed within committed delivery timelines.
- Track production progress from measurements and cutting to stitching, embroidery, finishing, and quality inspection.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Reduce rework, fabric wastage, and production delays.
- Coordinate outsourcing activities whenever required.

3. Order & Delivery Management

- Monitor the complete order lifecycle from order confirmation to final delivery.
- Ensure accurate recording of customer measurements, specifications,



and delivery commitments.
- Coordinate customer fittings, alterations, and final quality checks.
- Follow up on pending orders and proactively address delivery risks.
- Ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

4. Team Management & Performance

- Supervise showroom and production employees.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor individual productivity.
- Manage attendance, leave schedules, work allocation, and team discipline.
- Conduct daily team meetings and performance reviews.
- Identify training needs and improve employee efficiency.
- Create a positive, accountable, and target-driven work environment.

5. Inventory, Procurement & Cost Control

- Monitor fabric, accessories, raw materials, and finished garment inventory.
- Coordinate purchasing and supplier follow-ups.
- Ensure materials are available to meet production requirements.
- Monitor operational expenses and minimize unnecessary costs.
- Reduce inventory discrepancies, material wastage, and production inefficiencies.

6. Reporting & Process Improvement

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Monitor sales, production output, pending orders, delivery performance, and staff productivity.
- Maintain accurate records using the company's ERP/management software.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Report operational performance and challenges directly to management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be evaluated based on:

- On-time order delivery percentage.
- Daily and monthly production achievement.
- Showroom sales and conversion performance.
- Production quality and reduction of rework.
- Employee productivity and team efficiency.
- Customer satisfaction and complaint resolution.




- Inventory accuracy and material wastage control.
- Operational cost management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Management, Textile Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience in retail operations, garment production, boutique management, or a similar role.
- Prior experience managing both retail and production teams is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of garment production processes, tailoring workflows, and quality standards.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- Experience with inventory management, operational reporting, and team performance monitoring.
- Comfortable using computers, Excel, and ERP/POS systems.
- Good communication skills in Malayalam and English.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver measurable results.
