Profile Summary: Piping Engineer will be responsible for preparing piping 3D Models, 2D piping Layouts.

Good knowledge of Piping codes and Standards like ASME, BPE

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and modify piping layouts and models using Plant 3D
- Prepare isometric drawings, GA drawings, and pipe support drawings.
- Perform routing of piping systems based on P&IDs; and project requirement.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical) for clash-free designs.
- Assist in material take-off (MTO) and Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation.
- Ensure compliance with ASME, ANSI, API, and project-specific standards.
- Review vendor drawings and integrate them into the piping model.
- Support site teams during installation and resolve design-related queries.
- Technical knowledge of process flow and piping material specifications.
- Knowledge of piping stress analysis will be added advantage.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (master's degree preferred).
- PG Diploma in Piping from reputed institute.




- 2-4 years of experience in plant engineering services.
- Worked in EPC / Engineering Consultancy environment.
- Worked in any one of 3D Modelling software’s like Autodesk Plant 3D/E3D/Sp3D.

Preferred Skills

- Expert with 3D modelling tools like Autodesk Plant E3D
- Understanding of piping fundamentals — pipe classes, isometrics, GA drawings, and equipment layouts.
- Familiarity with hygienic design standards, including EHEDG and ASME BPE, especially for projects in food, pharma, and biotech industries.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs;, equipment datasheets, and layout drawings.
