Role Overview:

As a Wireless Test Engineer, you will be responsible for validating, debugging, and automating communication protocols (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) across Android hardware devices. You will use Android Debug Bridge (ADB) to simulate network changes, stress-test hardware connections, capture low-level logs, and isolate stability issues before software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

Protocol & Device Testing: Perform end-to-end testing of Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and Bluetooth (Classic & BLE) functionalities on physical Android prototypes.

Hardware Control via ADB: Interact directly with the Android Unix shell to change system properties, simulate dropouts, trigger specific intents, and bypass the graphical UI.

Log Analysis & Triage: Capture and analyze real-time device health logs using logcat, dumpsys, and bugreport to isolate Bluetooth pairing drops or Wi-Fi disconnection loops.





Wireless Debug Automation: Maintain and scale automated wireless testbeds utilizing Wireless Debugging (ADB over Wi-Fi).

Workplace Simulation: Simulate weak network conditions, low-bandwidth, and unexpected hardware state toggles to test app and device resilience.

Required Technical Skills:
