Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a highly experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant. The consultant will manage end-to-end SAP FI and CO processes, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with business stakeholders to understand financial and controlling needs, mapping them to SAP functionalities, and preparing functional specifications for technical teams.

The role involves handling system enhancements, integrations, and change requests, ensuring process optimization and adherence to company policies. The consultant will also provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support,



troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and system stability.

Qualifications

- Robust functional expertise in SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting) and CO modules (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis).
- Proven experience in end-to-end SAP implementation and rollout projects, including configuration, testing, go-live support, and post-implementation optimization.
- Ability to analyze business processes, gather requirements, prepare functional specifications, and work closely with ABAP and technical teams on enhancements and integrations.
- Experience with integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP, and understanding of cross-functional business flows.
- Sound knowledge of finance and accounting principles, budgeting, cost control, and reporting, with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy and compliance.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide user training and support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; professional certifications in SAP FICO are an advantage.
