Role & responsibilities

- Understand customer requirements and develop feasible machine design concepts.

- Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings for SPMs and material handling equipment.

- Ensure designs meet quality, cost, performance, and manufacturability standards.

- Apply GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and relevant engineering standards.

- Integrate hydraulic and pneumatic systems into machine designs.

- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

- Support tooling, fixtures, assembly trials, testing, and troubleshooting.

- Drive design improvements, innovation, and standardization.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong foundation in engineering mechanics, strength of materials, and machine design.

- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modelling software (Pro-E, etc.).

- In-depth knowledge of sheet metal, machine, or material handling equipment design.

- Familiarity with GD&T; and tolerance analysis techniques.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.

- Willingness to travel internationally for project assignments.

- Basic understanding of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
