Role & responsibilities
- Operate and set up CNC machines such as CNC Turning, VMC and HMC.
- Perform machine setting, tool setting and workpiece loading.
- Understand and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, holders and fixtures.
- Set and adjust machine parameters such as speed, feed and depth of cut.
- Perform tool offset corrections and basic program adjustments.
- Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Follow safety procedures and preventive maintenance requirements.
