Role & responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and perks before services are rendered.
- Obtain prior authorizations and pre-certifications from insurance companies.
- Follow up with insurance payers on pending authorization requests.
- Review authorization denials and take corrective actions for resubmission.
- Coordinate with providers, clinics, and internal teams to collect required clinical documents.
- Maintain accurate records of authorization status and updates in the system.
