ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Videographer & Photographer to handle on-ground video and photography assignments across our senior living communities and project locations. The candidate will work closely with the creative team to execute shoots based on briefs, concepts and directions provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Execute video and photography shoots across Primus Senior Living locations as per the creative team's direction.
- Handle camera operations, framing, lighting, composition and camera movements.
- Recommend the right camera, lens and equipment setup for each shoot, including podcast and film shoots.
- Operate gimbals, wherever the shot requires, to capture smooth, stable footage.
- Capture high-quality photographs alongside video assignments.
- Shoot interviews, resident stories, events, lifestyle content, property walkthroughs and brand films.
- Follow creative briefs and deliver quality footage within agreed timelines.
- Share creative inputs and visual suggestions wherever relevant.
- Handle basic colour grading and, preferably, video editing.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- 2–4 years of professional videography and photography experience.
- Must own a professional, video-compatible camera capable of shooting high-quality footage, preferably 4K, along with essential shooting equipment.
- Proficient in handling a gimbal (setup, balancing, calibration and operation).



Owning a gimbal is not mandatory.
- Solid sense of framing, composition and lighting for interviews, podcasts, events and lifestyle shoots.
- Able to suggest the ideal camera for podcast shoots versus film shoots, based on the brief and the setup.
- In-depth knowledge of different lenses (prime, zoom, wide, telephoto) and which to use for different kinds of shoots and setups.
- Strong command of exposure, white balance, frame rates and picture profiles (including log) for a consistent look.
- Working knowledge of audio capture (lavalier and shotgun mics, recorders) to ensure clean sound on interviews and podcasts.
- Good data management practices: shot organisation, file naming and footage backup.
- Good photography skills and an eye for detail.
- Knowledge of colour grading.
- Willingness to travel to different project locations for on-ground shoot assignments.

GOOD TO HAVE
- Degree or diploma in Multimedia Communications or MSc in Electronic Media (either one preferred, not mandatory).
- Basic video editing skills (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro).
- Own gimbal, tripod and additional shooting accessories (lights, audio gear).
- Sensitivity and patience when shooting with senior citizens, with the ability to put them at ease on camera.
- Experience shooting interviews, events, lifestyle content and brand films.
