Role Description The Video Editor role at Miya Infotech is a full-time, on-site position based in Jammu.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into polished, engaging content for digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and client projects. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and sequencing clips, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, performing color correction and grading, and integrating graphics or motion elements as needed. The role also involves collaborating with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to understand project objectives,



maintain brand consistency, and deliver videos within deadlines.

The Video

Editor will organize media assets, manage project files, optimize video formats for various channels, and stay up to date with trends and best practices in video production.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in video production and the overall planning and coordination of video projects.
- Candidates should possess strong video editing skills, including cutting, sequencing, and refining footage for clear storytelling.
- Candidates should possess video color grading skills to ensure visual consistency, correct exposure, and enhance aesthetic appeal.
- Candidates should possess motion graphics and graphics skills to create and integrate visual elements, titles, and animated assets.
- Candidates should have proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, strong visual sense, and the ability to follow brand guidelines and creative briefs.
- Candidates should have effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
