_ – Vehicle Dimension Engineer_

Qualification - B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or equivalent.

Job Summary looking for a skilled Vehicle Dimension Engineer with 2–8 years of experience in automotive dimensional engineering. The candidate will be responsible for vehicle dimensional analysis, measurement, tolerance management, GD&T;, and ensuring dimensional accuracy of vehicle components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform vehicle dimensional analysis and inspection of automotive components and assemblies.
- Conduct dimensional measurements of BIW, closures, chassis, interior and exterior parts.
- Analyze dimensional deviations and identify root causes.
- Work on GD&T;, tolerance stack-up analysis and dimensional variation analysis.
- Prepare and review dimensional reports, inspection plans and measurement results.
- Coordinate with design, manufacturing, quality and supplier teams to resolve dimensional issues.




- Support vehicle build events, prototype validation and production-related dimensional activities.
- Ensure compliance with automotive dimensional standards and quality requirements.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience in automotive dimensional engineering.
- Knowledge of tolerance stack-up and dimensional variation analysis.
- Experience with CMM, 3D scanning and other dimensional measurement equipment.
- Understanding of BIW, vehicle assemblies and automotive components.
- Knowledge of dimensional analysis tools such as 3DCS, CATIA V5, PolyWorks, Spatial Analyzer or similar tools.
- Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
