- Experience in design of Air Brake System at OEM including design and packaging of brake chamber , actuator, compressor, pneumatic valves & tubing , parking brake etc.

- Good knowledge of brake system sizing / Selection/Calculations with good understanding of ABS and ESP,ADAS/AEBS, Hill Hold, DTC etc

- Create 2D layouts, 3D CAD models, assemblies, detailed engineering drawings release.

- Conduct packaging, clearance, interference, tolerance stack-up, and feasibility studies.

- Prepare design documentation and support design reviews and engineering changes.

- Thorough understanding of system / vehicle level targets, vehicle test procedures.

- knowledge of Brake System testing and validation.

- Good understanding of design standards (Indian / International).

- Knowledge of govt regulations, homologation requirements and testing standards.





- Understanding of DVP preparation Vehicle level & component level, sign off.

- Interaction with suppliers to complete development tasks.

- Ability to work on 3D / DMU & 2D drawing preparation in Catia V5 with knowledge of GD&T.;

- Knowhow for the process of DFM / DFA / DFS / DFMEA/Control plan and execute the projects.

- Valuable knowledge of analysis of failure, conclusion and resolution, problem solving methodologies 8D,Fishbone diagrams etc.

- Ensure validation and test reports are completed in accordance with project timelines.

- VA/VE for optimization of existing designs.

CAD Skill: Proficiency in CATIA V5 / Teamcenter PLM.
