Position Overview

Vulcan Medical Systems Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a agile and results-oriented Ultrasound Sales Executive to drive sales and expand the company's presence in Bihar. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical equipment sales, preferably in ultrasound systems, and a solid understanding of the healthcare market in Bihar.

The position is based in Patna and involves extensive field travel to hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic centres, and other healthcare institutions across the territory.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

- Achieve assigned sales targets for ultrasound systems and related medical imaging equipment.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with hospitals, diagnostic centres, nursing homes, and healthcare providers.
- Generate leads, conduct customer visits, and convert prospects into sales.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline across Bihar.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales deals.

Territory Management

- Develop and execute a territory sales plan covering Patna and other key cities and districts in Bihar.
- Build strong relationships with radiologists, gynaecologists, hospital administrators, procurement teams, and owners of diagnostic centres.
- Conduct regular field visits and maintain an effective customer engagement schedule.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies.

Product Demonstrations & Customer Engagement

- Coordinate and conduct product demonstrations in collaboration with the applications and technical teams.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable ultrasound systems and configurations.
- Explain product features, clinical applications, and commercial benefits to prospective customers.
- Support customers during installation, training, and post-sales follow-up.

Sales Administration & Reporting





- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, quotations, and sales opportunities in the CRM or reporting system.
- Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to management.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, delivery, installation, and customer support.
- Follow up on payments and support timely collection of outstanding dues.

Compliance & Professional Conduct

- Ensure all sales activities comply with applicable medical device regulations and company policies.
- Maintain compliance with the PCPNDT Act and applicable requirements governing ultrasound equipment.
- Promote ethical sales practices and maintain qualified relationships with healthcare customers.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline; a degree or diploma in sales, marketing, biomedical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in medical equipment or healthcare sales.
- Experience selling ultrasound systems or other medical imaging equipment will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of the healthcare market in Bihar, particularly Patna and surrounding districts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Bihar.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
- A valid driving licence and personal conveyance are preferred.
