Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon and Noida, focused on Underwriting and Claims for P&C; Insurance in the UK Lloyd's London market. The qualified in this role will review and assess risks, analyze policy terms, and support pricing decisions within established underwriting guidelines for Lloyd's and UK market business. Daily responsibilities include evaluating submissions, analyzing exposure data, reviewing supporting documentation, and preparing clear underwriting and claims notes for internal and client use.

The role also involves handling and monitoring claims, coordinating with brokers and carriers,



validating loss information, and ensuring timely, accurate claims processing. The individual will collaborate with global teams, maintain compliance with regulatory and market standards, and contribute to process improvements, reporting, and documentation.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of P&C; insurance, particularly UK market and Lloyd's London business, including underwriting principles and claims handling practices.
- Ability to analyze policy wordings, endorsements, coverage structures, and exposure data with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working with insurance systems, databases, and MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and portfolio monitoring.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with internal teams, brokers, carriers, and other stakeholders, with clear written documentation.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and support risk selection and claims decisions.
- Prior experience in a Lloyd's or UK P&C; insurance environment, in underwriting support or claims, is highly desirable.
- Relevant academic background in insurance, finance, business, or a related field; professional insurance certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in GGN/Noida location, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with a global, cross-functional team.
