SSRC Logistics is a leading logistics and transportation company providing integrated supply chain and transportation solutions across India. We are looking for experienced and result-oriented Truck Placement Executives to strengthen our vehicle placement operations.

Job Overview The candidate will be responsible for arranging and placing market vehicles against customer loads, coordinating with transporters, fleet owners and brokers, negotiating freight rates, and ensuring timely vehicle availability as per operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Arrange and place market vehicles against available customer loads across different locations in India.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of transporters, truck owners, fleet operators and brokers.
- Source vehicles according to load requirements, including 32 FT, 20 FT, multi-axle, trailers, containers and other vehicle categories.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates with transporters while maintaining company profitability.
- Coordinate with customers, internal operations teams and branch offices to ensure timely vehicle placement.
- Ensure vehicles are arranged as per the required reporting time and delivery schedule.
- Maintain regular communication with transporters regarding vehicle reporting, loading and dispatch.




- Build long-term relationships with reliable transporters and continuously expand the vehicle sourcing network.
- Monitor market freight rates and identify opportunities for cost-effective vehicle procurement.
- Maintain proper records of vehicle placements, transporter details, freight rates and daily operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in truck placement, vehicle sourcing or transportation operations.

Strong existing network of transporters, brokers and fleet owners.

Good knowledge of Indian transport markets, routes and freight rates.

Understanding of different commercial vehicle categories.

Strong negotiation, communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under pressure and achieve daily vehicle placement targets.

Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Excel.

Self-motivated, proactive and target-oriented approach.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in the logistics or transportation industry preferred.

Candidates with a solid transporter network and proven vehicle placement experience will be given preference.
