Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Transport Solutions Design Engineer with strong expertise in data analytics, domestic transportation, and the design of complex, cost-effective, and scalable transportation solutions. The candidate will be responsible for developing data-driven logistics solutions, optimizing transportation networks, and designing innovative solutions aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Transportation Solutions Design: Design end-to-end domestic transportation solutions,

including FTL, PTL, multimodal transportation, hub-and-spoke networks, milk runs, and dedicated transportation models.
- Data Analytics & Optimization: Analyse transportation data, freight costs, shipment

patterns, vehicle utilization, lane performance, and service levels to identify optimization opportunities.
- Network & Cost Modelling: Develop transportation network models, routing strategies,

capacity plans, and cost simulations to improve operational efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
- Solution Development: Translate customer requirements into commercially viable,

operationally feasible, and scalable transportation solutions.
- Technology & Digitalization: Leverage advanced Excel, Power BI, and analytical tools to

build data models, dashboards, and performance analyses.
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate with sales, operations, procurement, and customers

to understand business requirements and develop customized solutions.
- Proposal & Presentation Development: Prepare solution design documents, cost

models, business cases, and professional presentations for customer pitches and management reviews.
- Continuous Improvement:



Identify opportunities for process improvement, network

rationalization, vehicle utilization, and transportation productivity. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Engineering graduate from a reputed institute, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial,

Production, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in transportation solutions design, logistics

analytics, network optimization, or supply chain consulting.
- Strong understanding of the Indian domestic transportation ecosystem, including FTL,

PTL, primary and secondary distribution, hub operations, freight procurement, and regional operating models.
- Proven capability in designing complex transportation solutions for large and diverse

customer requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in advanced Excel, Power BI, and data modelling;

knowledge of SQL, Python, or optimization tools would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of transportation costing, route optimization, vehicle utilization,

operational KPIs, and service-level modelling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to translate complex data and operational challenges into clear, actionable

business solutions.
