Don Bosco Tech Society is seeking a Trainer – Four Wheeler Service Technician to deliver training aligned with the Four Wheeler Service Technician (NSQF Level 4) qualification. The Trainer will build learners’ hands-on competence in vehicle diagnosis, routine servicing, and repair of mechanical and electrical aggregates, preparing them for employment in service workshops and dealerships.

What You’ll Do

- Train learners to carry out routine service and minor repairs
- Train on diagnosing vehicles for repair requirements
- Train on organising work and resources in a service workshop
- Deliver the Employability Skills module
- Demonstrate safe, correct use of workshop tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments
- Enforce workshop safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards
- Prepare trainees for assessment against a 70% minimum aggregate pass standard
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, and trainee progress reports
- Coordinate OJT placements and support placement activities





What We’re Looking For Candidates must meet one of the following routes specified by ASDC:

- ITI (Mechanic Motor Vehicle / Mechanic Auto Electrical & Electronics / Diesel Mechanic) with 4 years industry experience and 1 year training experience in four wheeler service; or
- ITI (as above) with 5 years industry experience in four wheeler service; or
- Diploma (Automobile / Mechanical Engineering) with 3 years industry experience and 1 year training experience; or
- Diploma (as above) with 4 years industry experience; or

In addition:

- Practical, current knowledge of vehicle diagnosis, servicing, and repair procedures
- Strong hands-on demonstration ability in a workshop setting
- Sound grasp of workshop safety and shop-floor discipline
- Ability to train young people across varied learning levels
- Good communication skills; command of the local language
- Basic computer skills for records and reporting
