About the Role

We are looking for a Ballastless Track Design Manager to lead track design and integration on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) project, based out of the Vadodara project office. This is a lead design role reporting directly to the Project Director, covering track slabs, fastenings, turnouts, rails, expansion joints, and buffer stops, with a focus on Japanese slab track technology. The role requires design sign-off authority and close coordination with multidisciplinary engineering, client, and regulatory teams.

What You Will Do

1. Develop horizontal and vertical track alignments and optimize overall track structure in compliance with UIC, EN, AREMA, and RDSO standards
2. Address rail-structure interaction (RSI) and structural dependencies across the track design
3. Assess and manage noise and vibration impact on adjacent structures and the surrounding setting
4.



Coordinate with Electrical, Signaling, Telecommunications, Contracts, Plant & Machinery, Business Development, and Tendering teams internally
5. Engage with Civil Works, Rolling Stock, Engineer/Employer, and regulatory bodies externally to ensure design alignment
6. Maintain technical documentation and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
7. Provide technical support during construction execution and support procurement strategy
8. Contribute to pre-bid engineering, tendering, technical proposals, and project estimation
9. Travel to the Sabarmati site as required

What We're Looking For

1. B.Tech/BE in Civil Engineering is mandatory (M.Tech alone without a Civil B.Tech/BE background will not be considered)
2. 10-15 years of overall track design experience, including meaningful exposure to ballastless track (BLT) design
3. Knowledge of Japanese slab track systems and/or other BLT technologies such as PORR, Rheda, LVT
4. High-speed rail design experience strongly preferred
5. Working knowledge of international track design standards (UIC/EN/AREMA); RDSO experience is an advantage
6. Working knowledge of track design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley, ProOpenRail, or RailTrack
