Role: Test Architect

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Test Architect to define and implement test strategies, design scalable automation frameworks, and drive quality engineering across complex software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test architecture, automation, integration testing, and quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Define the overall test strategy, test architecture, and quality engineering roadmap.
- Design and implement scalable, reusable test automation frameworks.
- Evaluate testing tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve testing efficiency.
- Lead automation initiatives across functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Establish testing standards, best practices, quality metrics, and governance processes.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, business, and architecture teams.
- Identify testing risks, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.




- Mentor QA engineers and automation teams on testing methodologies and technical practices.
- Monitor test coverage, defect trends, automation effectiveness, and release readiness.

Required Skills

- Robust experience in software testing and test automation architecture.
- Hands-on expertise with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience in API testing and integration testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.
- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
- Experience in automation framework design and enterprise-level testing solutions.
- Relevant testing certifications are an advantage.
