Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our FMCG division. The candidate should have practical knowledge of GST, inventory accounting, sales and purchase accounting, billing, and financial reporting. Experience in FMCG or trading businesses will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounts, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Handle GST-related activities, including GST calculations, return preparation, and filing.
- Prepare and verify GST invoices, purchase bills, sales bills, and debit/credit notes.
- Prepare and file GST returns such as GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Perform GST reconciliation and Input Tax Credit (ITC) verification.
- Maintain stock records, inventory registers, and product-wise stock reports.
- Monitor FMCG product purchases, sales, returns, and stock movements.
- Reconcile distributor, dealer, supplier, and customer accounts.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliation and cash management.
- Maintain Tally Prime / accounting software records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and financial reports.
- Monitor product-wise profit margins and expenses.
- Assist in internal audits, statutory audits, and tax compliance.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of financial reports.

Educational Qualification





- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- FMCG accounting experience will be an added advantage.

Required Technical Skills

- Good knowledge of GST rules and regulations.
- Practical experience in GST return filing (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B).
- Knowledge of Input Tax Credit (ITC) and GST reconciliation.
- Experience in Tally Prime.
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock reconciliation.
- Understanding of TDS and other statutory compliances.

- Candidates with experience in FMCG companies, distribution, wholesale, or retail businesses.
- Practical knowledge of GST billing and inventory management.
- Ability to independently manage daily accounting operations.
