Job SummaryJV Ventures is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Preparer to join our Finance & Accounts team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be the first line of accuracy in our accounts payable cycle—handling first-level invoice processing, vendor expense claims, three-way matching, and initial GST/TDS coding across multi-entity operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Invoice & Expense Processing

- Process vendor invoices, payment requests, and employee expense claims accurately into the accounting/ERP system.

- Perform three-way matching (PO vs. Invoice vs. GRN/Receipt) and flag any mismatches before routing for review.

- Verify employee reimbursement submissions against company travel and expense policies.

- Prepare complete payment batches with correct bank details, due dates, and supporting backup documentation.

2. Document Verification & Contract Handling

- Collate and verify underlying agreements, Work Orders (WOs), or Purchase Orders (POs) against billed rates, milestones, and payment terms.

- Ensure completeness of supporting documents (signed POs/WOs, GRNs, delivery challans, measurement certificates, or milestone sign-offs).

- Maintain and update the vendor agreement tracker (noting rate revisions, expiries, and upcoming renewals).

3. Statutory & Compliance Support

- Apply correct TDS sections and rates based on vendor categories and nature of payment; verify lower-deduction certificates where applicable.

- Check vendor GSTIN validity and HSN/SAC codes at the point of invoice entry.

- Strictly follow entity-specific Delegation of Authority (DOA) workflows for invoice approvals.

4. Vendor Master & Ledger Management





- Prepare vendor master creation/modification requests (including bank updates and KYC verification).

- Assist with vendor ledger reconciliations, statement matching, and tracking advance/debit balances.

- Support MSME vendor classification and track 45-day payment timelines under the MSMED Act to prevent overdue items.

5. Month-End & Audit Support

- Assist with month-end closing tasks, including expense provisions, unbilled service accruals, and cut-off listings.

- Prepare draft AP ageing, Input Tax Credit (ITC) mismatch, and TDS exception reports.

- Collate required schedules and audit documentation for statutory, internal, and tax audits.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or CMA Inter.

- Experience: 1–4 years in Accounts Payable or Finance Operations. (Freshers with strong accounting fundamentals and relevant internship exposure are welcome to apply).

- Taxation Knowledge: Basic working knowledge of GST (ITC rules, RCM, e-invoicing) and Indian TDS provisions.

- Software & Tools: Hands-on familiarity with Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, or similar accounting/ERP software.

- Excel Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data reconciliation).

- Key Skills: Strong attention to detail, clear written communication, and exposure to multi-entity/shared-services environments (a plus).

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

- First-pass processing accuracy (minimal review corrections/rework).

- Processing turnaround time from invoice receipt to reviewer submission.

- Completeness of backup documentation attached to each transaction.

- Timely tracking and flagging of MSME and critical vendor dues.

- Salary: 3,00,000-5,50,000 PA
