About the Opportunity

We are building an ambitious technology venture focused on quantum technology, quantum computing, artificial intelligence and advanced computational solutions.

We are looking for a technically strong and entrepreneurial Technical Lead to join as a founding team member.

The individual will take ownership of the technology vision, architecture, engineering strategy and product development. You will work closely with research and academic teams to transform complex research concepts into practical technology products.

This is an opportunity to build from the ground up, lead technical development, shape the technology direction and participate in the venture's long-term growth through equity ownership.

Key Responsibilities

- Technology Strategy and Architecture

- Define the overall technology vision, architecture and development roadmap.
- Translate business objectives and research concepts into practical technical solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, infrastructure and development tools.
- Establish scalable, secure and maintainable technology architecture.
- Make key technical decisions regarding infrastructure, platforms, APIs and integrations.
- Identify technical opportunities that can create long-term competitive advantages.

2. Product Development
- Lead the architecture and development of advanced technology platforms.
- Oversee the development of web applications, backend systems, APIs and user interfaces.
- Convert research outputs and technical requirements into functional products.
- Establish development standards, coding practices and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure products are scalable, reliable and ready for commercial deployment.
- Define product development milestones and technical priorities.

3. Quantum Technology and Artificial Intelligence
- Explore practical applications of quantum computing, quantum-inspired computing and artificial intelligence.
- Evaluate quantum computing frameworks, simulators and available quantum hardware platforms.
- Guide the integration of classical computing, AI, quantum-inspired algorithms and quantum computing technologies.
- Work with research teams to translate theoretical concepts into technical prototypes.
- Evaluate cloud-based quantum computing services and third-party technology integrations.
- Explore opportunities in quantum algorithm development, optimisation, simulation and computational problem-solving.




- Assess the technical feasibility of integrating real quantum hardware into future products.

4. Engineering Team Leadership
- Build and lead the engineering and technology team.
- Identify technical talent and define engineering roles and responsibilities.
- Assign development tasks and establish technical workflows.
- Mentor developers and conduct code and architecture reviews.
- Coordinate with research, product and business teams.
- Establish development milestones, priorities and delivery timelines.
- Create a collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation and execution.

5. Research and Development Collaboration
- Work closely with research and academic teams.
- Assess the technical feasibility of proposed research projects.
- Identify opportunities for prototypes, experimentation and product development.
- Support algorithm development, testing, simulation and benchmarking.
- Convert research outcomes into practical technical specifications.
- Identify limitations in existing technologies and recommend potential solutions.
- Guide the transition of successful research projects into deployable products.

6. Infrastructure and Security
- Define cloud infrastructure and deployment architecture.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines, testing environments and monitoring systems.
- Implement appropriate data security, privacy and access controls.
- Manage infrastructure performance, reliability and scalability.
- Evaluate technology costs and optimise infrastructure usage.
- Establish appropriate documentation and technical governance.

Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in software engineering and system architecture.
- Experience building and deploying scalable technology products.
- Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js or Go.
- Understanding of frontend technologies and modern web application frameworks.
- Experience with databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies and their practical implementation.
- Understanding of quantum computing concepts.
- Experience leading developers or managing technical projects.
- Solid problem-solving, analytical and architectural thinking.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq or PennyLane.
- Familiarity with IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket or Google Quantum AI.




- Experience with AI integrations, LLMs and intelligent automation.
- Knowledge of algorithm design, optimisation and simulation.
- Experience building early-stage products or technology platforms.
- A strong portfolio of independently developed or commercially deployed projects.
- Interest in emerging computational technologies and experimental research.

Equity and Compensation Structure

This is an equity-based founding team opportunity.

- No fixed salary is offered at the current stage.
- Equity participation will be discussed based on the candidate's experience, technical capabilities, time commitment, responsibilities and value contributed.
- Equity will be subject to mutually agreed terms, formal documentation, applicable company approvals and an appropriate vesting structure.
- Future salary arrangements may be considered as the venture develops revenue and financial capacity.
- The individual will have significant technical ownership and decision-making responsibility.
