Role Overview :

As a Technical Lead at Habuild, you will lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend systems, ensuring the platform’s efficiency, reliability, and future extensibility. This is a key leadership role in our engineering team, where you'll own architectural decisions, build resilient infrastructure, and mentor fellow engineers in delivering impactful technology solutions. You’ll work closely with product, QA, and cross-functional teams to drive progress aligned with the long-term technology roadmap. If you’re a hands-on backend expert with a strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for building reliable systems at scale, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities :

- Strategize, lead, and execute product roadmap implementation with speed and precision
- Drive architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and system reliability
- Collaborate with stakeholders, PMs, QA, and developers to align efforts with business goals
- Produce clean, maintainable,



and high-quality code while setting strong development standards
- Evaluate and recommend system design approaches, balancing build vs. buy decisions
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and workflows
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a strong culture of continuous learning and code excellence

Requirements :

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development
- Deep technical expertise in TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and AWS
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and system tracing
- Strong architectural experience in designing HLDs, LLDs, and scalable backend systems
- Proven ability to mentor, guide, and elevate engineering teams through technical leadership
- Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical alignment and team visibility
