Role:

Lead a scrum team responsible for build systems, system integration, and embedded Linux platform foundation for webOS-based devices. The role combines technical leadership, people leadership, stakeholder communication, and delivery ownership to improve platform scalability, build efficiency, system performance, and engineering productivity.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and develop a cross-functional team consisting of system integration, architecture, and embedded Linux engineering roles.

- Define team vision, priorities, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes for build performance, system efficiency, integration quality, and platform scalability.

- Provide technical direction for Yocto/OpenEmbedded build framework evolution, BSP-independent architecture, multi-SoC scalability, and CI/CD optimization.

- Drive cross-functional alignment with platform, BSP, product, quality,



and infrastructure teams.

- Own execution governance, risk management, technical decision-making, and escalation for complex integration and bring-up issues.

- Establish engineering practices for design review, code review, automation, reproducibility, observability, and continuous improvement.

- Coach engineers and architects, support capability development, and foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and collaboration.

- Communicate strategy, progress, risks, and decisions clearly to engineering leaders and global stakeholders.

- Engage with open-source ecosystems and promote alignment with Yocto/OpenEmbedded upstream where appropriate.
