About the Role

Kriti Publication House is looking for a skilled and creative Graphic Designer who has hands-on experience in designing books, educational materials, and publishing-related creatives.

We are not looking for someone who simply knows how to copy-paste content into templates. We need a designer who understands visual communication, typography, layouts, alignment, and the finer details of book design.

The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, good command of English and Hindi, and the ability to identify spelling, grammatical, formatting, and layout errors before the final design goes for printing.

We also expect the candidate to be comfortable using AI tools to improve creativity, productivity, and design workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Design book covers, book interiors, educational books, worksheets, activity books, and other publishing materials.
- Create visually appealing and reader-friendly page layouts with proper typography, spacing, alignment, and formatting.
- Understand the content and design accordingly instead of blindly following instructions or copying existing layouts.
- Review designed pages and identify spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, incorrect Hindi/English text, alignment issues, and formatting inconsistencies.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across multiple pages and book projects.
- Prepare print-ready files with appropriate dimensions, margins, bleed, resolution, and colour settings.
- Work closely with the editorial and content teams to understand design requirements.
- Explore AI-powered design tools to improve workflow efficiency and creative output.
- Handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced publishing environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3–5 years of professional experience in graphic designing,



preferably in a publishing house or educational content industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and CorelDRAW.
- Practical experience in book designing, page layout, typesetting, and print production.
- Good command of both Hindi and English, including the ability to identify language and content-related errors.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour combinations, visual hierarchy, and page composition.
- Knowledge of AI tools for image generation, content assistance, and design productivity.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
- Ability to think independently and suggest creative improvements.
- Good time management and ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
