The Urban Mango Hotel is looking for a skilled, dedicated and professional Chef specialising in Indian and Continental cuisine. The ideal candidate should have practical kitchen experience, good cooking skills and the ability to prepare delicious, hygienic and consistently high-quality food.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about cooking, maintains professional kitchen standards and can work efficiently in a team-oriented hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian and Continental dishes as per hotel standards.
- Maintain consistency in food taste, quality, presentation and portion sizes.
- Handle daily kitchen operations and food preparation efficiently.
- Ensure proper cleanliness, hygiene and food safety practices in the kitchen.
- Maintain proper storage of ingredients and monitor food inventory.
- Minimise food wastage and ensure the efficient use of kitchen supplies.
- Follow recipes, cooking standards and food presentation guidelines.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and hotel management for smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment,



utensils and workstations.
- Ensure timely preparation and serving of food orders.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality and professionalism in the kitchen.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of professional cooking experience.
- Good knowledge of Indian and Continental cuisine.
- Ability to prepare a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
- Knowledge of food hygiene, safety and kitchen cleanliness.
- Understanding of ingredient selection, food storage and kitchen management.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple food orders.
- Good teamwork, time-management and communication skills.
- Dedicated, responsible and passionate about cooking.
