We have been mandated by a large conglomerate into Cement Business for the below mentioned role.

Position: Supply Chain Planner

Location: Gurugram

Industry: Cement Manufacturing

Must have experience in manufacturing industry

- Bachelors/Masters degree in business, supply chain management, sales, or a related field (BBA, MBA, PGDM)
- Certified in demand and inventory management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification is advantageous.
- 3+ Years of experience in logistics, manufacturing, depot, procurement planning or a similar role

Job summary : The supply planner manages internal and external supply planning to ensure effective operations and timely demand fulfillment. Collaborating with Logistics, Manufacturing and RM procurement team (including bags) team to create a cohesive supply plan with SC network.

Key responsibilities :

- Preparation for Supply planning : Collaborate with cross-functional team members to set up and maintain master data and transactional data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Define and set supply guardrails to be considered by the supply team, ensuring alignment with operational/execution level capabilities and constraints.
- Update and integrate customer-specific requirements and supply guardrails into the overall planning process.
- Capacity and resource planning : Perform Rough-Cut Capacity (RCCP) checks to evaluate the feasibility of production plans against available capacity, identifyingpotential constraints and recommending adjustments.




- Analyze production capacity and resource availability, making recommendations to optimize the use of resources and improve production efficiency.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor and report on capacity utilization, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Supply review : Develops multiple supply scenarios to formulate a constrained supply plan, integrating inputs from logistics planning, production planning, inventory management, and sales forecasting
- Participate in supply review meetings, providing key insights and updates on supply status .
- Identify potential risks and uncertainties in the supply plan, supporting the development and monitoring of mitigation strategies.
- Data analysis & reporting : Track and analyze KPI reports, forecast accuracy, and demand trends. Compile market intelligence reports to support S&OP; meetings.
- Continuously refine supply guardrails and implement process improvements in supply planning.
- Be the Change Champion to the adoption new processes and improvement initiatives across the organization.

Skills required :

- Strong understanding of manufacturing and logistics operations
- Hands on experience with data analysis, advance planning solutions
- Familiarity with Theory of Constrains to interpret supply constraints
- Proficiency in cost modelling and financial analysis
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools for analytics and reporting (e.g., Power BI, tableau)
