Structural Site Engineer

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Structural Site Engineer to represent our organisation at ongoing and future project sites, primarily in Bengaluru, with opportunities across Pan India.

The ideal candidate should have a strong track record of delivering complex site projects within an engineering consultancy environment.

Your Next Role

- Advise on all technical aspects of building structures that may affect construction progress and quality.
- Provide technical support and review contractors' coordinated shop drawings against Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings to ensure compliance with design intent.
- Review contractors' and subcontractors' calculations for permanent works elements and connections in accordance with design specifications.
- Review subcontractors' structural and civil shop drawings in coordination with building services engineers to ensure proper engineering coordination.
- Review subcontractors' construction method statements, test results, and material submittals for new permanent works and remedial works.
- Evaluate subcontractors' structural and civil material proposals against specified technical performance requirements.
- Attend project meetings related to structural and civil technical matters.
- Review compliance with specified technical requirements.
- Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) in consultation with design teams.
- Prepare site visit reports and maintain records of site activities.
- Assist design teams with periodic updates to technical specifications by providing feedback and insights from site activities.




- Visit multiple project sites and represent the organisation in site meetings.

Your Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant professional experience with a proven track record.
- Demonstrable experience in ensuring construction quality while adhering to technical requirements and coordinating technical discussions with design teams.
- Ability to take a high degree of responsibility in a team-based organisation while working independently and collaborating closely with office-based engineering design teams.
- Broad site knowledge gained through working on a diverse range of projects.
- Strong technical and project leadership experience, with a proven record of successful project delivery.
- Considerable experience working on complex, large-scale, and high-rise building projects in India, the Middle East, or other international locations.
- Previous design office experience will be an added advantage.
