Role & responsibilities

- Develop and implement sales strategies and business plans to drive growth.

- Plan territories and allocate sales targets across the region.

- Ensure achievement of primary and secondary sales targets.

- Develop and execute effective coverage and route plans.

- Monitor product availability, visibility, and market penetration.

- Review daily market working schedules and sales productivity.

- Track competitor activities relating to pricing, packaging, promotions, and trade schemes.

- Drive sales activation initiatives and promotional programs at district and regional levels.

- Strengthen and expand the distributor and stockist network.

- Identify and appoint new Redistribution Stockists (RDS) and Super Stockists.

- Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to deliver superior results.

- Provide market intelligence and business performance reports to the CEO.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate with MBA in Sales, Marketing, or equivalent qualification.

- 12-15 years of experience in FMCG sales with proven experience in territory and distributor management.

- Age: upto 45 years

- Fluent in English & Local Language (Kannada for Karnataka / Tamil for Tamil Nadu)

- Strong networking capability and willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.

- Local candidates preferred.

- Candidates from reputed Regional or National FMCG Organizations and A/B Category FMCG Companies with robust experience in sales, distribution, and market development.
