Responsibilities

- Provide bedside nursing care to admitted patients – monitor vitals, administer medications and maintain accurate nursing records
- Assist doctors during rounds, bedside procedures and emergencies; carry out treatment orders as directed
- Follow infection control, hand hygiene, patient identification, and fall and bed-sore prevention protocols
- Complete shift handovers, maintain nursing records,



and counsel patients and families on treatment and discharge advice
