Role Description The Sr.

Safety

Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ambattur, responsible for overseeing health, safety, and security across ShreeTech’s operational activities. This role includes developing, implementing, and monitoring safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with statutory and company standards. The Sr.

Safety

Officer will conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits, and lead accident and incident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions. Daily responsibilities also involve coordinating safety training programs,



promoting a strong safety culture, and collaborating with project, engineering, and operations teams to mitigate hazards and maintain safe work environments. The role requires maintaining accurate safety documentation, reporting safety performance metrics, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in line with ShreeTech’s mission-critical infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills, including knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and safe work practices.
- Candidates should possess Accident Investigation skills, including incident analysis, root cause identification, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Candidates should possess Safety Training skills, with experience designing and delivering safety orientations, toolbox talks, and refresher programs for diverse teams.
- Candidates should possess Security awareness and risk management skills related to protecting people, assets, and critical infrastructure at project and operational sites.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in safety, engineering, or a related field, along with certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, industrial safety) are beneficial.
- Experience in construction, power, data center, or industrial project environments, with a solid understanding of site safety practices and permit-to-work systems, is preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams and drive a proactive safety culture, are essential.
