Job Summary

Senior Process Associate; location Ambattur, Tamil Nadu, India. This is a full-time position in a BPO workplace with 4-6 years of experience in US finance, or accounting, payroll tax. Educational qualification: Bachelor or master degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or other relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and post Journal Entries accurately and timely.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Perform Bank Reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct General Ledger (GL) Reconciliations.
- Assist in financial reporting and month-end close activities.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards.
- Support accounting processes related to US taxation (knowledge preferred but not mandatory).
- Handle email communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines.

Requirements





- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of AP/AR, Journal Entries, and Reconciliations.
- Understanding of US GAAP.
- Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas preferred).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work in a mandatory night shift.
