Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior NestJS Developer at PPStack. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using NestJS for various education and career-focused platforms.

The Senior

NestJS Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, implement clean and testable code, and integrate third-party services and databases. Daily responsibilities include code reviews, performance optimization, troubleshooting production issues,



ensuring security best practices, and contributing to architectural decisions. The role also includes mentoring other developers, improving development workflows, and supporting continuous integration and deployment processes.

Qualifications

- Solid proficiency in backend development with NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and modular application design.
- Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices (JWT, OAuth, encryption).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
- Experience with testing frameworks and practices (e.g., Jest, unit and integration testing).
- Ability to work with distributed teams, manage code repositories (Git), and follow agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Previous experience in EdTech or building scalable SaaS platforms is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
