Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Conduct speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing assessments.
- Identify speech and language delays, disorders, and communication difficulties.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and assessment findings.
- Provide speech and language therapy to children and adults with communication disorders.
- Deliver therapy for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, and neurological conditions.
- Provide articulation, pronunciation, fluency, voice, and language development therapy.
- Conduct swallowing assessments and provide appropriate therapeutic interventions within qualified scope and competence.
- Use appropriate therapeutic techniques, tools, and communication aids to improve patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans based on their response to therapy.
- Maintain accurate patient records, assessment reports, daily treatment notes, and progress reports.
- Educate and guide parents, caregivers,



and family members regarding home-based therapy activities.
- Coordinate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, special educators, doctors, and other rehabilitation professionals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, team meetings, and rehabilitation planning.
- Conduct caregiver training and provide recommendations for continued therapy at home.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of therapy equipment and materials.
- Follow institutional policies, patient safety protocols, infection control practices, and professional ethical standards.
- Prepare and submit departmental reports and maintain timely documentation.
- Participate in awareness programmes, health camps, and other organizational activities as assigned.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP / MASLP).

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
