Job Title: Software Engineer – Android Framework / HAL

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer with hands-on experience in Android Framework, HAL and driver development to build, debug and support Android platforms on embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Android Framework, HAL and driver components
- Ensure CTS/VTS compliance and support the resolution of defects
- Perform system-level debugging across the Android stack on embedded platforms

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in Android Framework, HAL or driver development
- Strong C/C++ development skills with a positive understanding of object-oriented design
- Good understanding of the Android framework and overall Android architecture
- Strong background in embedded systems development




- Solid system knowledge and system debugging skills
- Experience with CTS/VTS compliance and defect resolution

Proficiency in at least one of the following

- Android HAL: Audio, Graphics, Camera, Power, etc.
- Multimedia frameworks such as OpenMAX or Codec2
- Android ML runtimes such as TFLite, ONNX Runtime or custom delegates, with hands-on experience in hardware acceleration frameworks (e.g. NNAPI, OpenCL, VIRTIO or custom IPC mechanisms)

Preferred Skills

- Android multimedia framework
- ALSA, V4L2 and I2S
