Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Product Development Engineer to lead the development, customization, and industrialization of refrigeration-based products for specialized laboratory applications. The role involves driving the complete product lifecycle from platform evaluation and concept development through design modification, risk assessment, certification, validation, and production release. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in refrigeration systems, product engineering,



compliance, and cross-functional leadership to deliver safe, reliable, and regulatory-compliant products.

Essential Skills:

- Experience in Product Development and Engineering of refrigeration systems, freezers, environmental chambers, or temperature-controlled equipment.
- Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, HVAC principles, electrical systems, temperature controls, sensors, and product safety requirements.
- Expertise in product architecture definition, requirements development, system design, and engineering modifications.
- Hands-on experience in DFMEA, risk assessment, troubleshooting, design verification, and validation activities.
- Experience in prototype development, temperature mapping, performance testing, and product qualification.
- Knowledge of UL, NFPA, NRTL certification requirements, electrical safety standards, and US regulatory compliance.
- Experience coordinating with certification agencies, compliance teams, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and engineering stakeholders.
- Solid capability in engineering documentation, BOM development, technical specifications, and test protocol preparation.
- Experience driving products through the complete lifecycle from concept, prototype, validation, certification, and production release.
- Strong analytical, project leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
