Job Description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer cum Operator with hands-on experience in CNC machine programming, machine setting, and operation. The candidate should be capable of independently handling CNC machines, preparing programs, setting tools, and ensuring quality production as per engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, edit, and execute CNC programs as per component drawings.
- Perform CNC machine setting, including tool setting, job setting, and workpiece alignment.
- Operate CNC machines and ensure smooth production operations.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, speeds, and feeds.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; specifications.
- Perform tool offsets, work offsets, and program corrections.
- Monitor machining operations and troubleshoot programming or machining issues.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments.
- Maintain production quality, productivity,



and machine safety.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Practical experience in CNC programming, setting, and operation.
- Knowledge of CNC programming languages and G-code / M-code.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand machining tolerances.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and Bore Gauge.
- Ability to independently handle CNC machine setting and production activities.
