Saraswati Vidya Academy is a growing network of residential schools committed to providing free, quality CBSE education from Class 6 to 12 to talented students from disadvantaged backgrounds. With its first school operational in Maharashtra, the organisation is expanding to Rajasthan, with its next school in Bikaner.

About the Role The Site Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day supervision and monitoring of civil construction activities at the Bikaner campus. The role involves ensuring execution as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and timelines, while coordinating with contractors, consultants and the central project team.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Supervision: Monitor daily construction activities and ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect materials and workmanship, identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Progress Monitoring: Track daily progress, maintain site records and report delays, challenges and resource requirements.
- Measurements & Documentation: Verify BOQ, contractor measurements, maintain measurement books, prepare progress reports and support billing. Should be able to prepare estimates.
- Contractor Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors,



consultants and vendors to ensure smooth site execution.
- Technical Coordination: Review drawings, identify discrepancies and coordinate resolution of technical issues.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to site safety practices, construction regulations and applicable standards.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction and site supervision.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, BOQs and quantity measurements.
- Working knowledge of construction materials, methods, quality control and site safety.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Ability to coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors and consultants.
- Strong documentation, reporting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to be based full time at the Bikaner project site.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

- Experience in institutional, school, residential or commercial building construction.
- Knowledge of MEP coordination and finishing works.
- Experience working with contractors and managing day-to-day site execution independently.
