Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Site Civil Engineer.

The Site Civil

Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications, and coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and site staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring project progress, managing materials and resources, enforcing safety and quality standards, and resolving technical issues on site. The role involves planning and scheduling site activities, verifying measurements, preparing basic site reports,



and supporting inspections and approvals.

The Site Civil

Engineer will also help optimize construction methods, address engineering challenges, and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

- Civil Engineering knowledge and practical experience, including Civil Engineering Design and general Civil Engineering principles.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on residential or building projects, with familiarity in site supervision and execution.
- Planning skills for coordinating site activities, scheduling work, and managing resources in alignment with project timelines.
- Exposure to Stormwater Management or related infrastructure design and implementation in building projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and structural details.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices, quality control procedures, and relevant standards or codes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively on site.
- Willingness to work on-site at project locations in Chennai and adapt to dynamic construction environments.
