An experienced Senior Voice Network Architect – Tier 3 to lead the architecture, engineering, optimization, and ongoing evolution of our carrier-grade VoIP infrastructure.

This is a senior technical position responsible for designing and maintaining reliable, scalable, secure, and highly available voice platforms supporting business customers, hosted PBX services, SIP trunking, and telecommunications operations.

Must have extensive hands-on experience with Open SIPS, FreeSWITCH, FusionPBX, SIP signalling, RTP media, Linux systems, and carrier-grade VoIP network architecture.

Must understand how voice platforms, session border controllers, carrier interconnections, routing systems, databases, virtualization, and network infrastructure interact.

The ideal candidate will be capable of evaluating our existing environment, identifying architectural weaknesses, designing improved solutions, and leading their implementation.

Education and Requirements for the process

7+ years of professional VoIP / telecommunications engineering experience, including significant experience in production SIP-based environments.

3+ years of demonstrated voice architecture or senior engineering responsibility, including designing and implementing production infrastructure.

Advanced hands-on knowledge of OpenSIPS, including SIP routing, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Strong experience with FreeSWITCH architecture, configuration, and administration.

Practical experience with FusionPBX or equivalent multi-tenant hosted PBX platforms.

Expert-level understanding of SIP, SDP, RTP, RTCP, and related VoIP protocols.





Experience designing high-availability SIP routing and PBX environments.

Solid understanding of SBC architecture, SIP trunking, carrier interconnections, and call routing.

Advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.

Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge, including routing, NAT, VLANs, firewalls, and packet analysis.

Experience with SIP tracing and packet capture tools such as sngrep, tcpdump, Wireshark, and Homer.

Experience with SQL databases, preferably MariaDB/MySQL and PostgreSQL.

Experience with virtualization and multi-server infrastructure.

Demonstrated ability to lead complex production troubleshooting and incident resolution.

Strong technical documentation and infrastructure diagramming skills.

Ability to independently design, justify, implement, and validate architectural changes.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience operating carrier-grade or service-provider VoIP infrastructure.

Experience with geographically redundant SBC and PBX deployments.

Experience with Kamailio, Asterisk, RTPengine, or similar telecommunications platforms.

Familiarity with Homer/HEP and advanced SIP observability architecture.

Experience with SIP load balancing, dispatcher routing, and least-cost routing.

Experience with SIP security, toll fraud prevention, and DDoS mitigation.

Experience with Ansible, Git, CI/CD, or infrastructure automation.

Experience with XCP-ng, Xen, VMware, or KVM virtualization.

Knowledge of telecommunications quality metrics, including ASR, ACD, PDD, MOS, jitter, and packet loss.

Familiarity with Canadian telecommunications carrier environments and number routing.

Experience with infrastructure monitoring platforms such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus.

Experience leading infrastructure modernization projects involving legacy voice systems.

Pay: Up to ₹200,000.00 per month
