Role & responsibilities

- Perform routine, type, and special tests on power and distribution transformers.

- Conduct IR, PI, TTR, winding resistance, vector group, magnetic balance, HV, Tan Delta, and other electrical tests.

- Handle testing and diagnostics of transformer windings, cores, stator windings, rotor poles, and coils.

- Analyze test results, identify abnormalities, and recommend corrective actions.

- Ensure compliance with applicable IS/IEC standards and customer specifications.

- Prepare test reports, inspection documents, and technical records.

- Coordinate with production, quality, customers, and third-party inspection agencies.

- Handle customer witness testing and final inspection before dispatch.

Preferred candidate profile

- 4 - 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical equipment testing and transformer manufacturing/remanufacturing.

- Strong knowledge of electrical testing procedures and HV testing equipment.

- Knowledge of IS 2026 and IEC 60076 standards.

- Positive troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.

- Experience in transformer repair and refurbishment will be preferred.
