Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) & Databricks Integration Consultant to support our client in establishing its SAP data-product development and integration capabilities.

The consultant will be responsible for developing SAP business data products, publishing them through SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) / SAP Datasphere, and enabling secure data sharing with Databricks using Delta Sharing. The role also involves establishing reusable implementation frameworks and transferring technical knowledge to client's internal team.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and SAP Datasphere solutions.
- Develop, model, govern and publish reusable SAP business data products.
- Integrate SAP data from S/4HANA, SAP ECC and other relevant SAP systems.
- Implement SAP BDC / Datasphere integration with enterprise Databricks using Delta Sharing.
- Configure secure data sharing, access permissions, authentication and data consumption.
- Enable Databricks teams to consume SAP data products for analytics, data engineering and AI/ML initiatives.
- Define end-to-end integration architecture, data flows, security and governance standards.
- Establish reusable frameworks, templates, technical guidelines and implementation best practices.
- Conduct hands-on workshops, mentor our client internal resources and facilitate structured knowledge transfer.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams and operational runbooks.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

- Hands-on experience in SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) implementation and configuration.
- Strong expertise in SAP Datasphere, including data modelling, integration and data product development.
- Experience in developing, publishing and managing the lifecycle of SAP business data products.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA / SAP ECC data structures and integration.
- Practical experience in configuring and implementing Delta Sharing.




- Experience in Databricks data engineering, Delta Lake and data consumption.
- Knowledge of Unity Catalog, including data governance, access management and security.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data validation, transformation and troubleshooting.

.Experience & Qualifications

- 10–12 years of overall SAP data and enterprise data integration experience.
- Proven hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere and preferably SAP Business Data Cloud.
- Demonstrable experience integrating SAP BDC / Datasphere with Databricks using Delta Sharing.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, governance and security.
- Experience delivering production-grade data products and integration solutions.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, mentoring and knowledge-transfer capabilities.

Important:

- A hands-on SAP BDC / Datasphere specialist with proven Databricks integration and Delta Sharing implementation experience, capable of independently delivering the solution, establishing a scalable technical capability and enabling our client's internal team to manage future implementations.
- This is a hands-on implementation and capability-building assignment, not merely an SAP advisory or architecture role. Candidates with actual SAP BDC Connect / Datasphere-to-Databricks integration experience will be strongly preferred.
