Key Responsibilities

- QA Strategy &
- Architecture:

Define, architect, and implement comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies for web, mobile, and complex core banking systems.

- Automation Framework Design: Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable test automation frameworks from scratch to optimize regression test coverage.

- Advanced LOS Validation: Oversee end-to-end testing of complex Loan Origination System workflows, including credit decisioning engines, risk mitigation logic, complex amortization schedules, underwriting rules, and multi-party integrations.

- API &

- Integration Testing Architecture:

Lead the automated validation of backend services and critical financial integrations (e.g., credit bureaus, national identity/KYC systems, fraud detection tools, and payment rails).

- Environment &

- Test Data Management:

Strategize the creation and maintenance of synthetic financial test data, ensuring compliance with data scrubbing and privacy rules in non-production environments.

- Leadership &

- Code Review:

Mentor junior/mid-level QA engineers, establish automated testing best practices, and conduct rigorous code reviews of test scripts.

- Security &

- Compliance Auditing:

Collaborate closely with security and compliance teams to ensure testing coverages account for data protection standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) and local banking guidelines.

Required Skills &





- Qualifications

- Experience: 5 to 8+ years of dedicated QA engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years heavily focused on the banking or fintech sector.

- Domain Subject Matter Expertise: In-depth technical knowledge of Loan Origination Systems (LOS), credit scoring models, or commercial/retail lending lifecycles.

- Advanced Automation Toolkit: Expert proficiency in developing automation suites using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress, coupled with strong programming mastery in Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- CI/CD Integration: Proven experience integrating test automation suites into DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).

- Expert Database Skills: High proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (Stored Procedures, Subqueries, Indexes) to extract, validate, and verify financial transactions and analytical data.

- Agile Leadership: Strong experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, utilizing tools like Jira and Xray/Zephyr for advanced test lifecycle management.

Preferred Certifications &

- Qualifications

- ISTQB Full Advanced Level (Test Manager or Test Automation Engineer).

- Certified Banking Quality Assurance Skilled (CBQAP) or specialized financial risk/compliance training.

- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
