Job Description – Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the smooth functioning of the hospital's finance department.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Handle cash, bank transactions, and daily cash reconciliation.
- Maintain ledgers, vouchers, journal entries, and financial records.
- Perform bank reconciliation and vendor account reconciliation.
- Manage billing, expense entries, and payment records.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS as required.
- Coordinate with internal departments for bills, invoices,



and financial documentation.
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing required documents and records.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to financial policies and procedures.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance's.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Manage petty cash
- Positive communication and coordination skills.

Eligibility Criteria

- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Experience in a hospital ,healthcare or CA Firm will be preferred.
- Ability to manage accounting records independently and meet deadlines.
