SPIHER is looking for a student-focused and motivated Education Counsellor to handle student enquiries, provide academic programme guidance, and assist prospective students throughout the admission process.

The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in education counselling, college admissions or a related field, along with strong communication, follow-up and student relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle student and parent enquiries through telephone, WhatsApp, email and walk-in visits.
- Explain UG and PG programmes, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, fees and application deadlines using approved institutional information.
- Understand students’ academic backgrounds and interests to guide them towards suitable programmes.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents to encourage application completion.
- Maintain accurate enquiry details, follow-up records and applicant status in the CRM.
- Assist students with application forms, required documents and admission-related queries.
- Coordinate with the admissions office and academic departments to resolve student enquiries.
- Maintain daily enquiry reports and provide regular updates to the admissions manager.
- Support admission campaigns, education fairs, seminars and campus promotional activities.
- Work towards approved enquiry conversion and admission targets.




- Ensure professional communication and confidentiality of student information.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in education counselling, admissions, student recruitment or a related role.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good telephone counselling and follow-up abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge, including email, spreadsheets and data entry.
- Ability to maintain enquiry records and work with CRM systems.
- Strong organisational skills and a student-friendly approach.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in universities, colleges, education consultancies, EdTech companies or student admission services will be preferred.
