Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Health Cloud Technical Architect to lead the architecture, technical design, and implementation of enterprise-scale Salesforce Health Cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Salesforce architecture, Health Cloud data models, healthcare integrations, interoperability standards, and enterprise solution design. The candidate will be responsible for translating complex healthcare business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Salesforce Health Cloud Architecture

- Lead end-to-end technical architecture and solution design for Salesforce Health Cloud implementations.
- Design healthcare-specific solutions covering patient/member profiles, care plans, care teams, provider relationships, clinical data, and healthcare workflows.
- Define scalable architecture using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, Platform Events, and APIs.
- Ensure Health Cloud configurations and customizations align with Salesforce architecture best practices.

2. Healthcare Integration & Interoperability

- Design enterprise integrations between Salesforce and healthcare systems such as EHR/EMR, claims, pharmacy, laboratory, provider, member, and clinical platforms.
- Architect integration solutions using REST/SOAP APIs, HL7, FHIR, middleware, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Lead integration architecture using MuleSoft or equivalent enterprise integration platforms.
- Ensure reliable data exchange, synchronization,



and interoperability across healthcare applications.

3. Data & Security Architecture

- Define Health Cloud data architecture, including data modelling, migration, synchronization, and master data management.
- Design solutions for high-volume data processing and large data volumes.
- Establish security architecture using profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, role hierarchy, encryption, and Salesforce Shield where applicable.
- Ensure sensitive healthcare and patient information is protected through appropriate access controls and security practices.

4. Salesforce Development & Technical Governance

- Provide architecture guidance across Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, Platform Events, and asynchronous processing.
- Review technical designs, code implementations, integrations, and configurations.
- Establish best practices for governor limits, bulkification, transaction management, performance, and scalability.
- Identify technical debt, platform risks, and architectural improvements.

5. DevOps & Release Management

- Define Salesforce DevOps and deployment strategies using Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD.
- Work with Copado, Gearset, or equivalent Salesforce release-management tools.
- Establish deployment governance, code quality, version control, and release-management standards.

6. Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Management

- Lead technical design workshops and architecture reviews.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Functional Consultants,



Project Managers, Security Teams, and Enterprise Architects.
- Mentor Salesforce developers and technical leads.
- Prepare technical architecture documents, integration designs, sequence diagrams, data models, and deployment strategies.

Required Technical Experience

- 9+ years of overall Salesforce experience with solid technical architecture and solution-design expertise. 10+ years preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Health Cloud implementation experience.
- Strong understanding of Health Cloud data models, healthcare workflows, and industry use cases.
- Advanced hands-on knowledge of Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flow, Platform Events, and Asynchronous Apex.
- Strong experience designing enterprise integrations using MuleSoft or comparable integration platforms.
- Practical understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, particularly HL7 and FHIR.
- Experience with complex Salesforce data migration, data modelling, synchronization, and large data volumes.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, performance, governor limits, and scalability patterns.
- Experience implementing Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD processes using Salesforce DX, Git, Copado, Gearset, or equivalent tools.
- Ability to prepare architecture documents, integration specifications, sequence diagrams, and technical design documents.

Preferred Experience

- Salesforce Health Cloud implementation and architecture certifications.
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect credentials.
- Experience integrating with enterprise EHR/EMR and healthcare applications.
- Exposure to Salesforce Shield, encryption, audit, and healthcare data governance.
- Experience working in enterprise healthcare transformation programs.
