Job Overview

PS Associates is looking for a technically proficient and customer-oriented Support Handholding Engineer for the Sarguja Division. The candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, assisting government employees with IT-related issues, and ensuring the smooth functioning of computer systems, IT infrastructure and e-governance applications across assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide on-site technical support and handholding assistance to end users.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers and other IT peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system and basic networking issues.
- Assist government employees in using e-governance applications, software and IT systems.
- Provide technical guidance and basic training to end users.
- Monitor and maintain IT equipment at assigned government offices.
- Maintain records of technical complaints, resolutions and pending issues.
- Coordinate with senior engineers for escalation of complex technical problems.




- Prepare daily support reports and maintain technical documentation.
- Travel across assigned locations within the Sarguja Division for on-site technical support.

Educational Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

- Computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office.
- Desktop, laptop and printer installation and maintenance.
- Basic networking, LAN and internet connectivity.
- Good communication and end-user handling skills.
- Problem-solving and reporting abilities.
- Willingness to travel across the Sarguja Division.

Experience

- 0–3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support or technical assistance.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also apply.
